4-Player Co-play

Playcasting turns all single player and co-play games modes into online games.  Any audience on a Playcast stream can share access to up to four virtual game controllers as though they were all sitting on the same couch together, looking at the same screen and passing the game controller among them.  The Playcast Server UI provides controls for the Playcast Host to assign game pads to spectators while the game is playing.  They also have the ability to assign a shared game controller to multiple players.  

This capability enables some new and fun gaming experiences.  You can get help from a more experienced friend to navigate a difficult level, defeat a difficult boss or level up your character. You can take turns playing a game while socializing with a group.  You can take turns competing at single player game sessions.
